Strategically engineered with aircraft aluminum for reduced weight, the Winthrop Epic Butt is a blank through butt geared with a fluted handle grip and a comfortable mushroom gimbal. It also includes octagonal hoods with matching nuts and nylon washers for anti-reel rotation while wrestling those ocean giants.
Special Note: Size #1 is a glue through butt design, with the rod blank passing through. Size #2 uses a ferrule and is not blank-through.
